Art Fair 2023
Gathering for Women's Fourth Annual Art Fair again features works of art made by both local, professional artists and the homeless women we serve. Proceeds from the sale of art from professional artists will help fund GFW's day-to-day operations, while the proceeds from sales of GFW guests' art will go directly to each individual artist. Last year's Art Fair raised more than $3,200 to support GFW operations and $1,000 for our guests.

The artwork made by our guests shows their versatility, bravery, and amazing talents. All paintings were created on the premises at Gathering for Women during our bi-monthly three-hour painting workshops and other art therapy classes. The vast majority of our guests had not painted since kindergarten. They remembered the joy of creativity, mixing colors, and the focus and peace it brings to one’s mind. Our guests have been inspired by original photographs, old masters, and local artists.
